What we are best at answering
- Corrections. A wrong figure, a compatibility claim that does not hold, a listing that has changed since we read it. Every spec on this site carries the date it was read precisely so these are checkable, and we would rather hear about it than not. How we handle corrections.
- A product we should look at. Particularly one whose seller publishes more than its competitors — that is the kind that does well here.
- A question about the method. How the score works, why a component is judged rather than computed, why a spec is missing. The methodology page is the long answer.
What we cannot help with
- Orders, deliveries and returns. We do not sell anything. Every purchase made through this site is with the retailer, and they hold your order.
- Anything medical. We hold no clinical qualification and nothing on this site is medical advice. Questions about eyes, hands or backs belong with a professional.
- Recommending a specific novel. We do not review books and would not pretend to have read them. What we can help with is how to choose one.
A note for brands
We do not accept sponsored placements, paid reviews, guest posts or link exchanges, and we do not take product samples — partly because a site that says it has not handled anything should not have a closet full of samples, and partly because we would then have to say so on every page. If your listing publishes a specification our checklist asks for and we have marked it “Not published”, point us at it and we will correct the page.
